Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week, 9am – 5pm, 30 min break.
Hourly Rate: £14.40 per hour (FIXED)
We are currently searching for a skilled NVQL2 Pharmacy Dispenser to join our clients pharmacy team at an NHS Hospital in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dispensary-based role and make a real difference in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately dispensing medications to patients in line with prescriptions.
- Ensuring all prescriptions are checked and dispensed in compliance with NHS guidelines.
- Managing the stock and storage of medicines, ensuring accuracy and safety in stock levels.
- Supporting the preparation and delivery of medications to wards and departments.
- Providing essential information to patients and healthcare staff regarding prescriptions and dosage instructions.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to NHS policies and procedures.
- Assisting with administrative duties related to medication orders and inventory management.
Requirements:
- You must hold an NVQL2 qualification in Pharmacy Dispensing.
- Hospital experience is not required, so if you're looking to make the move into a hospital setting, we encourage you to apply!
About the Role:
- Full-time position, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
- Fixed hourly rate of £14.40.
- Dispensary-based role within an NHS Hospital.
