Your new companyA specialist academy in Birmingham is looking to appoint an interim Science Technician to work across its multiple schools. The role is to start as soon as possible. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, on an ad hoc basis per term. Your new roleWe are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable, and suitably experienced science technician. You will be supporting the school's science department. You will be supporting with compliance checks and risk assessments, stocktaking and general science lab responsibilities, which will also involve cleaning of equipment and setting up for practicals. You will be responsible for mixing chemical solutions and helping where necessary.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have experience of working as a Science Technician in a school setting and have a good understanding of the required science lab compliance. Hays Education will be able to obtain recent satisfactory references for you that reflect this experience.
