Job Title: Powder Coater (Temp to Perm)
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £13 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, shift pattern can work between 7:30am and 7:00pm (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our team in Birmingham. This is a temp to perm role, offering a competitive hourly rate of £13. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal products, ensuring a high-quality finish and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Operate powder coating equipment to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal application.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in powder coating or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work within the shift pattern (7:30am to 7:00pm).
