PLANNING NQOur client is seeking a motivated NQ to join their Planning team. The team carries out a wide variety of work focused on Highway & Planning projects for local government, charities, social business clients, faith communities, and registered providers of social housing.The successful candidate will be committed to providing high-quality service to their clients, as well as being a strong team player. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join a firm that prides itself on being different and is well placed to offer you a satisfying and rewarding career within their well-regarded and supportive team.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:- Dealing on a daily basis with highway/planning agreements and other related infrastructure agreements.- To instruct Counsel when required and to act as a project manager for one of their large infrastructure projects.- Dealing with the advice notes and supporting other fee earners when required.- Close working with property colleagues in relation to planning and property related matters affecting regeneration projects.- Assisting in, and undertaking, legal research into often complex legal issues that have a meaningful impact for their clients.SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:- Organised with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines whilst working under pressure.- Availability to take forward your own caseload.- Previous experience of working with clients in housing and regeneration would be desirable although this is not essential.- Dedicated to a career in the legal sector having a positive social impact with a genuine interest in regeneration projects.- Maintaining the highest standards of honesty and integrity in all dealings with clients, colleagues and all people with whom you come into contact.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with your CV.
