The CDM Advisor Role

The successful CDM Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and promoting best practices in health and safety across a diverse range of projects. Working within a team of experts, you will provide comprehensive CDM and health and safety advisory services from project inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on their duties under CDM regulations.
  • Prepare and review pre-construction information, construction phase plans, and health and safety files.
  • Conduct design risk assessments and implement hazard elimination strategies.
  • Perform site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Deliver CDM and health and safety training sessions to clients and project teams.
  • Support the integration of health and safety principles into the design and construction processes.

The CDM Advisor

  • Degree in a construction-related field.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership with IOSH or APS is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in providing CDM and health and safety consultancy services.
  • Thorough understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
