RM Recruit is working in partnership with a large Housing Association to recruit a Service Charge Manager for their projects team for a period of 14 months. This will be a remote role with occasional travel to their Midlands on a monthly basis. This is an exciting period for the organisation whereby you will spearhead and complete the service charge project whilst leading a fantastic team.

Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

  • Overseeing the day to day activities of the service charge team, managing team performance to ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
  • Driving business strategy
  • Calculation of costs, analysis and business partnering with key stakeholders
  • Involvement in a wholesale project to redefine the end to end service charge process
  • Cost rebasing activities focusing on a number of housing schemes
  • Cross-departmental communications regarding service charge concerns

This role will be ideal for any accounting professionals who have a deep understanding of service charge accounting and are confident of operating in large Housing Association environments. Candidates who possess extensive housing experience are also encouraged to apply.

You will possess proven leadership and management experience, gained within a housing / property setting, and have experience of implementing new processes and initiatives to innovate service delivery and implement solutions that meet a range of customer needs.
