Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor/Manager
Location: Midlands, UK
Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 per annum
Health and Safety Advisor/Manager Role Overview:
As the Health and Safety Advisor/Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures across various construction sites. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety within the organisation.
- Health and Safety Advisor/Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform risk assessments and hazard identification.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to site personnel on health and safety practices.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture within the organisation.
Health and Safety Advisor/Manager Qualifications and Experience:
- NEBOSH Certification or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety.
- Minimum of 5 year's experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience working with Tier 1 main contractors is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations and produce detailed reports.
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
