About the Role:


We are looking for an experienced Entry into Service (EIS) Manager to join our team on a 9-12 month full-time placement. This role is critical in managing and coordinating regulatory approvals for Entry into Service (EIS) by both the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) and Network Rail, ensuring the successful completion of multiple projects working through the GRIP stages:

  • Oversee and coordinate the regulatory approval process for Entry into Service (EIS).
  • Work closely with Network Rail, the ORR, and Train Operating Companies (TOCs) to ensure stations are fully prepared for both operational readiness and rail services.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and dependencies, ensuring smooth progress of the EIS multi-faceted programme.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project timelines or regulatory approvals.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Programme Sponsor, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Ensure all compliance, safety, and operational requirements are met in preparation for station opening.


About You:

  • Proven experience in managing complex multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including approvals from ORR and Network Rail.
  • Demonstrable track record in stakeholder management, with the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
