Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Director to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of two significant new build residential projects in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

This is for a tier 2 main contractor who turnover close to 500Mil and primarily focus on the residential sector. The 2 schemes include a 500+unit residentialdevelopment and a 500+ unit student accomodation complex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for two new build residential developments.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design and construction alignment.
  • Oversee project teams, providing clear direction and support to project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and community groups, to maintain positive relationships and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Implement best practices in project management to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure quality control.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
