PROJECT MANAGER - RESIDENTIAL (HIGHRISE)
BIRMINGHAM
£70k - £75k DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Project Manager with high-rise residential experience to join a dynamic and privately owned residential developer based in Birmingham City Centre. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading multiple projects one of which will be a flagship scheme in the Midlands from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of high-rise residential projects, managing schemes from cradle to grave.
• Collaborate closely with commercial and development teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Oversee project planning, design, and delivery, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
• Manage and maintain the Building Control regime for higher-risk buildings, in compliance with Gateway standards and regulations.
• Ensure all stages of the construction process, from design to final handover, meet the required quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement rigorous project management processes and targeted strategies to drive success.
• Regularly update key stakeholders on project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within high-rise residential developments.
• In-depth knowledge of the Building Control regime for higher-risk buildings (Gateway process).
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Relevant qualifications in construction, project management, or a related field.
