Primary Responsibilities:
-Research & deliver the implementation of overall Strategic Procurement for the business
-Manage tactical procurement activities with daily routines and deadlines installed and adhered to.
-Manage departmental KPIs and improvement targets
-Manage supplier development planning with key supplier groups
-Manage ongoing cost down program(s) and initiatives
-Promote and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
-Monitors suppler quality, initiating containment activity and agreeing sustainable corrective action with suppliers
-Evaluate supplier performance on regular basis, putting development plans in place and validate/approve all major price increases
Skillset Requirements:
-Demonstrable purchasing experience , manufacturing desirable but not essential
-CIPS qualified or working towards desirable
