One of our clients are looking for a Senior QS to assist them with working on National Grid substation projects. This woud be a hybrid role based out of their Birmingham Office with ocassional visits to site when required.
The role:
- ASAP start
- 6-month initial contract
- Inside IR35
- Hybrid - office/site 2-3 days and wfh
Requirements:
- Strong NEC knowledge
- Skilled Senior QS with proven experience
- Previous substation experience
- Experience working for Tier 1 contractor
Specific duties:
- This role will provide commercial support at a project level in all aspects of commercial control. You will work on both live projects and tender opportunities within the power sector. You will use your in-depth experience of the NEC3 and NEC4 forms of contract (Options A and C) to administer projects effectively including the development and implementation of subcontracts with the supply chain. This specific role requires Estimating experience.
