Attention all Senior Quantity Surveyors!

Blueprint Recruitment would like to speak with you about an exciting new opportunity with a leading client! We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced professional for a contract role, which will require you to work up to three days a week at the client's office in Essex.

Our client is a leading provider of essential infrastructure services across various sectors, including water, energy, highways, rail & aviation, and telecom. They are focused on maintaining, renewing, and reimagining infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities of your role:

-Assist with commercial application implementation and building client and manager relationships.

-Oversee sub-contractor procurement, tender preparation, and assessments.

-Focus on project cost and value reporting, and manage change accounts to ensure contract compliance.

-Recommend and develop processes for improved accuracy and efficiency.

-Liaise with the Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyors.

-Engage in client negotiations and attend relevant meetings.

-Maintain records and perform monthly reporting, including variance analysis and cash collection.

What we are looking for:

-A qualified Quantity Surveyor with a relevant degree and professional certifications (e.g., MRICS).

-NEC 3 & 4 Options A, C & E.

-Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

-Extensive experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.

-Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

-Experience in supporting a project team.

-Strong understanding of cost control, risk management, and contract administration.
