My client is an international law firm, and they are looking to recruit a Team Manager to join their vehicle hire team in Birmingham.   The need to hire a supervisor has arisen due to bringing in a new client. In the role you will be managing a small team of Supervisors who in turn are manging a small team of Paralegals. You will imparting your technical knowledge to ensure the cases run smoothly. Your teams will be managing vehicle hire claims from small track to multi track including fraudulent credit hire claims, as well as dealing with liability, indemnity and associated losses including personal injury, credit repair and diminution. The role will be handling a small caseload and will consists of the more complex, higher value files that come in.      The salary for the role will be £40K + bonus with an OTE of c£45K. You will be expected to be in the office 3 days a week with 2 days WFH. There are also a host of fantastic benefits that includes 25 days AL plus bank holidays, private medical and dental insurance, enhanced maternity/paternity pay, sabbaticals up to 12 months and many more.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience handling either vehicle hire claims, fraudulent claims or PI claims with experience managing a team. The role is a defendant role but if you are from a claimant background looking to get into a defendant role you will also be considered too. There are also opportunities for career progression. My client wants you to stay long term and as a result you will be encouraged to progress within the firm but also given opportunities to qualify if that's what you are looking for.
