Our client, an education organisation, is seeking a dynamic and friendly Academy Receptionist to join their team. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to the academy office. Responsibilities:??

  • You will be the welcoming face of the organisation, providing a professional and efficient 'front of house' reception and switchboard support.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service, you will receive and direct pupils, parents, and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Handling incoming calls, you will ensure timely message delivery and provide accurate information.
  • Managing incoming mail and deliveries, you will be responsible for their distribution.
  • Supporting the wider Infants and Junior Academy through clerical and general non-teaching duties.
  • Assisting with routine word processing tasks and maintaining accurate records in designated information management systems.
  • Keeping the Academy's database up to date and ensuring its accuracy.
  • Being a committed member of the team, attending meetings and parents evenings when required.
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children through maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:?

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
  • Experience within an educational setting (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and friendly demeanour
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work
