Children's Centre Receptionist Based in Erdington, Birmingham £13.10ph Your new schoolA Children's Centre which deals with the local community and runs a number if children parent groups is looking for a Children's Centre Receptionist. The role would be a long term contract until March 2025 and would be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Your new jobYou will be responsible supporting at a front desk reception, signing in visitors, opening the gates into the car park and signing for deliveries. You will also support with general admin such as scanning and shredding documents. You must have strong customer service skillsTHIS IS AN IDEAL ROLE FOR A CANDIDATE LOOKING TO DEVELOP SKILLS WITHIN THE ADMINISTRATION FUNCTION BUT MUST HAVE BASIC ADMINISTRATION EXPERIENCE THAT WE CAN REFERENCE.You will be have strong IT skills as will be using multiple inhouse systems and have strong communication skillsWhat you'll need to succeed For this administrator job, you will need to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to work in a pressured environment as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception. You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
