Ambassadors Resourcing are looking for a Recruitment Consultant with an Early Years or Education background with a focus on sales, a strong commitment to Safeguarding and a good knowledge of Childcare and Education and the recruitment process for those working with children and young people.

Ambassadors Resourcing are a Birmingham based Childcare and Education Recruitment business which has been established for 19 years, providing recruitment solutions to schools, nurseries and other education related settings.

The working environment is positive, friendly, fun, supportive whilst being busy and fast paced.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be:

Supporting our client base to recruit the right staff to meet client expectations and needs of their children.

Working with nursery and primary schools, SEN schools, children’s nurseries and other settings within the childcare and education sector.

Engaging with new and existing clients to provide them with their recruitment requirements:

Recruit the right staff to meet the needs of our clients’ children by developing new and existing working relationships.

Attending on site sales and service visits to clients to gain a better understanding of recruitment needs and offer solutions.

Sourcing relevant suitably qualified and experienced candidates to meet the requirements of our clients.

Arrange and conduct interviews, adhere to required compliance requirements within the education sector including safeguarding, referencing, pre-screening checks.

Managing vacancies via advertising, attending recruitment promotions and presentations.

Benefits to the successful candidate:

Entitled to 22 days of annual leave, increasing 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days.

Essential Skills:

The successful candidate is required to:

Be a valuable team player with the at least 12 months experience of working in a targeted, fast paced, busy environment.

Have in-depth, practical knowledge of compliance within the education sector.

Demonstrate excellent organisation and administrative abilities.

Prioritise workloads in an ever-changing work environment, meeting deadlines whilst delivering a high standard of professionalism.

Ability to communicate professionally on a consistent basis to clients and candidates in person, over the telephone and via email/letter.

Ambitious and driven.

Confident/ outgoing.

Car owner/driver.

Based in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham City Centre, working Monday to Friday on a shift rota: 7am to 3pm or 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
