The role of the Sales Engineer Commercial and Industrial Heat Pumps and Chillers will involve:

Field sales role selling a distribution range of commercial and industrial (100kw+) heat pumps and chillers, plant supply only

50% of your time will be spent selling into M&E contractors, 50% winning specifications with M&E consultants (small element of FM and end user work)

Predominantly a new business role , although you will inherit a pipeline of circa £3m-£4m

Revenue target year one circa £500,000, year 2 £1m

Typically project sizes £200,000-£400,000 (circa £100,000-£150,000 per chiller)

Sector targets; commercial, industrial, healthcare and education

Delivering high spec climate solutions

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Engineer Commercial and Industrial Heat Pumps and Chillers with:

Must have a proven track record in the sales of HVAC or renewable products

Ideally sold heat pumps or chillers for commercial or industrial applications

Mix of engineering and sales background may be advantageous

Network of contacts within M&E consultants and M&E contractors

Technical product knowledge preferred but not essential and full product training will be provided

Door opener/ new business hunter

Autonomous and self-starter

Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Highly organised, able to manage own day-to-day

Energetic and passionate

Team player
