Renewable Sales Engineer required for our client, one of the Midlands largest Renewable Energy specialists that offer full package of design, installation, and maintenance services for Heat Pumps, Solar PV, EV Charging, and Ventilation products.
Renewable Sales Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £30,000 - £45,000 (Guide only - negotiable depending on experience)
- Hybrid/Remote position
- Employee owned trust scheme - circa £5,000 pay-out in first year, rising by 20% for each year with the business
- 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
- Monday - Friday, 40 hour week
- Fuel paid at HMRC rates
- Salary sacrifice scheme available for a company car
Our client has been operating within the renewable energy sector for over 20 years and therefore the work that they carry out is largely brought on through word-of-mouth and referrals, therefore this role is more focused towards providing technical knowledge and assistance to clients who have already expressed an interest in the company, rather than focusing on prospecting and bringing on new business.
Due to ongoing expansion within the business, the successful Renewable Sales Engineer will be travelling within a two-hour catchment area of Kidderminster, completing on-site surveys and communicating with clients via phone, email, and video meeting to advise on the most suitable package to suit their needs.
Renewable Sales Engineer Position Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of the domestic and/or commercial renewable energy sector
- Experience and knowledge of both Heat Pumps and Solar PV systems is desirable, but the role is open to candidates with knowledge of one or the other
- A background of running your own Heating (Gas and/or Renewables), or Solar business would be desirable, but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within a 2 hour commute of Kidderminster (position is largely remote/on-the-road)
