Our client, a leading global HVAC company is looking for a Cold Stores Business Development Manager with experience in modular cold stores to drive rental sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships and providing tailored cold storage solutions to meet new and existing client’s needs.
This Rental Business Development Manager for Container Cold Stores demands a strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and a comprehensive understanding of the container cold storage sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential customers across industries requiring container cold storage solutions, leveraging market research and tailored sales strategies to generate leads and convert opportunities into sales
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships by acting as a trusted advisor, addressing concerns and providing ongoing support, including troubleshooting, maintenance advice and the coordination with technical teams
- Provide technical expertise in container cold storage systems, including refrigeration units, insulation, and temperature control, to guide customers in selecting suitable solutions
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate customer needs, ensuring accurate and customised proposals
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline. Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses, offering insights and recommendations to improve strategies and achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts and drive business growth
Skills and Experience:
- A strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and container cold storage solutions
- Qualification or practical experience in engineering or a related field is advantageous
- Proven sales experience, ideally in the container cold storage or refrigeration industry, with a history of meeting or exceeding targets through effective problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong customer relationships, understand needs and propose tailored solutions
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving results.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to manage data accurately and effectively
- Valid driver’s licence
