The role of Sales Engineer requires a candidate with a track record of specifying lighting into Architects & Designers and seeing the project through with contractors.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must be self-motivated and focus on attention to detail, ensuring correspondence with customers and follow up when required.
The position offers a salary of £35k-£50k Basic Salary, along with commission paid Quarterly + Annually (circa 20%), a company car, phone, laptop, and pension.
The ideal candidate will be an established lighting sales candidate looking for stability and security with an established manufacturer.

The Role of the Sales Engineer

This role as Sales Engineer will see you seeing Lighting into Retail, Commercial and Leisure sectors.

The lighting products you’ll be selling are: Spotlights, Linear, Track Systems, Project Downlights and Commercial Downlights.

As the Sales Engineer you’ll be specifying with Architects, Designers, End Users and Contractors to win key projects with renowned clients.

This area is performing well, with some key projects/clients.

Covering: East and West Midlands, the ideal candidate will be based in the West Midlands.
