Sales Engineer - Midlands Territory

Location: Remote (Midlands Region)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing a Midlands territory, focusing on selling small filling line depositors.

Our machines are used across various sectors including food, beverage, cosmetics, and healthcare. All equipment is manufactured in the UK, and our company boasts a £5 million turnover with 35 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business within the Midlands region.
  • Product Focus: Selling liquid filling equipment for products such as yogurts, jams, shampoos, and gels.
  • Achieve a monthly sales target of £65,000,
  • Average order value £12,500-£25,000
  • Focus on new business acquisition with a "hunter mentality."
  • Prospecting by whatever means you feel comfortable with
  • Engineering background
  • Sales cycle can last 3-6 months
  • Selling to engineering managers, production managers & business owners

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in capital equipment sales or engineering components.
  • Strong technical sales background, capable of engaging in a technical-based sell.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident in new business generation.

Offer:

£50,000 base salary plus £5,000-£10,000 commission.

Company car and comprehensive pension scheme.
