Recardo Group are currently representing a rapidly growing construction company in the hire of a Trainee Finance Assistant. Working as part of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for supporting in all areas of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Authorisation and processing of purchase invoices within the internal finance systems
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve account queries
  • Liaising internally with contract managers to ensure allocation of costings
  • Arranging weekly payment runs
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements at Month End
  • Charge card reconciliations
  • Process employee expenses
  • Supporting finance team with reporting /month end

The successful candidate will have:

  • A desire to kickstart their career in Finance in a long-term opportunity offering career development
  • Possess an AAT Level 2 qualification with a desire to pursue Level 3 and 4
  • Great communications skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
