Position: Secondary School, Art and Design Teacher

Location: South Birmingham

Salary: £120 - £180, per day. Dependent on experience.Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Role Overview: You should be a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Art and Design to join their team. You will deliver engaging and innovative art lessons to students at key stages 3/4/5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality art lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Contribute to the development of an exciting and challenging art curriculum.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the Art and Design faculty to share best practices and resources.
  • Participate in continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Engage in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community.

What You Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Art, Design, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching art at key stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for art and a commitment to inspiring students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with all offers of employment subject to an Enhanced DBS check
