This role is full-time and is available for a October start until the end of the academic year.Position: Geography Teacher (KS3-KS4)Location: Birmingham, West MidlandsStart Date: OctoberContract: Until end of academic yearSalary: £175 - £250Role Overview: As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and informative Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 4. You will have the opportunity to inspire a passion for Geography and support students in their academic journey. This role is vital in contributing to the continued success of our school and for the achievement of our students.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 to 4.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of students and facilitate their progress.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Geography department to share best practices and resources.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 to 4.
  • Knowledge of History/RS is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
