Key stage 3/ 4 Geography Teacher needed in North Birmingham.

Start date: ASAP - Ongoing

Required to start as soon as possible (Jan 2025), this popular school in North Birmingham seek an enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a full time post. This role requires Geography Teacher who is able to teach engaging and dynamic lessons across the curriculum. Ideally candidates will work well with staff and have the ability to inspire able and motivated students.S

The right candidate must have experience teaching Geography to KS4 and ideally History & R.E. to at least KS3.

The role is to cover long term absence of a member of staff, though once the placement is finished  the school have expressed interest in taking the successful person on full time, depending on performance.

In return, the Geography Teacher will have the opportunity to work in an engaging and dynamic school with a real friendly working environment.

Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants need to have:

  • QTS with a Humanities specialism
  • Experience teaching classes up to KS4
  • A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
