ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated Geography Supply Teacher for a long-term position at a thriving secondary school in Sheldon, Birmingham. As a Geography Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Inspire students to appreciate Geography and develop a strong understanding of the world.
  • Work alongside a talented and committed faculty within the Humanities department.
  • Adapt lessons for diverse learning needs, helping students excel in their studies.

 

Requirements

The successful Geography Teacher will have;

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
  • A positive approach to behaviour management and a genuine passion for the subject.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
