About the Role:As a qualified ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. You will be expected to inspire students, foster a love for technology, and ensure that they are well-prepared for their GCSEs. The role includes planning, assessment, and collaboration with other departments to enhance the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ICT across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school’s ethos
- Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents
Key Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- A passion for teaching ICT and technology
- Experience teaching ICT at KS3 and KS4 is desirable
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to the success and wellbeing of students
