Are you a passionate Maths teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary Maths teacher to start immediately initially until January.

Our client is based in Central Birmingham with an “outstanding” Ofsted rating and has a great ethos and staff culture. The ideal candidate will be confident teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

  • Teach Maths throughout KS3 and KS4.
  • Planning, marking, and assessment required.
  • Comply with the school behaviour policy.
  • Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills

Required skills and experience for the Maths Teacher role:

  • Specialist in Maths
  • Confident teaching Maths up to GCSE
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Early career Teachers (ECT's) are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
  • Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
  • Previous school experience teaching Maths.
