The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join the team in Bournville. The successful candidate will teach Science to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, fostering a love for the subject and helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the curriculum standards for KS3, KS4, and KS5 as a Science teacher in Bournville.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Use innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.
- Experienced Science teacher at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for being a Science teacher.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
