Winner Education are seeking a Science Teacher for a Pupil Referral Unit in North Birmingham. This role is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and will be long term until the end of the academic year. You must have previous experience in teaching combined science at GCSE level.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Adapt lessons to suit the needs of children
- Create a stimulating learning environment
- Support KS4 pupils
- Work alongside the Curriculum Lead to ensure the curriculum is up to date and meets the needs of the students
- Conduct assessments and progress reports for individual pupils
- Provide additional revision and focus sessions for students
- Ensure pupils are meeting set targets
- Produce interactive and engaging lesson plans to deliver to the leaners
- Support pupils with additional GCSE support
- Attend parents’ evenings when required

The successful Science Teacher must:
- Have previous experience working in a secondary school / PRU
- Hold a QTS or degree within science
- Previously taught combined science
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
- Have strong resilience and patience
- Be a great team-player and form good relationships within the school environment
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
