The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an ECT to join a highly respected Spanish department in a large, ‘Outstanding’ secondary school. You will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 and 4, helping students develop their language skills and appreciation for Spanish culture. You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, managing a classroom, and supporting students in their language learning journey. Hold a degree in Spanish or a related field, and QTS (or be on track to achieve it by September 2025)
Have a strong understanding of the Spanish curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4
Be passionate about teaching Spanish and motivating students to develop their language skills
Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of various abilities
Be willing to collaborate with colleagues in the department and contribute to the development of Spanish language learning
