Providing 1:1 support for children with moderate learning needs in Key Stage 1.
Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet the needs of individual pupils.
Using creative and engaging strategies to support learning and development.
Encouraging children to build confidence, independence, and social skills.
Monitoring and recording progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Building positive relationships with children, staff, and families.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Key Stage 1 or with SEND pupils.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A valid DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
