- Teaching Design & Technology to small classes of students with special educational needs.
- Planning and delivering creative, hands-on lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Developing students' practical skills and confidence in areas such as resistant materials, design principles, and woodworking.
- Creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviours.
- Collaborating with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Design & Technology, ideally within a SEND or inclusive education setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and creative approach to teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
- A valid DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
