Position: CCTV Supervisor Technician

Salary: £40,198.00 per annum

Location: Mobile role based around the West/East Midlands region. Ideal candidate located:Birmingham

We are advertising this Project Supervisor/CCTV Supervisor Technician on behalf of our client 'City Facilities Management’ under the CBES contract. City were established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world’s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Supervising of engineers whilst undertaking multiple system type installations and commissioning of said systems in accordance with the current standards and Codes of Practice.
  • The ability to work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates.
  • Ability to supervise the commission and handover of systems in line with the specification and drawings, including giving client demonstrations.
  • NSI gold standard experience.
  • Ensure timesheets and all other relevant paperwork is completed on time.
  • Undertake any relevant training as required.
  • Must be able to compile H&S Risk Assessments and deliver toolbox talks.
  • Ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with.
  • Ensure the health, safety and welfare of yourself and the team in accordance with Company policy.
  • Completion of the relevant e-documentation, paperwork and where required quotation briefs to be submitted on time.
  • To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of fire and security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
  • Product knowledge and working experience relating to - Galaxy Honeywell devices, IP CCTV & Analogues CCTV infrastructure (Samsung, Honeywell, Intellex and Axis) Access Control systems and data set wiring (ACT, CEM, Honeywell and Paxton) Fibre and data networks & termination.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A proven background and experience of electronic security systems minimum of 8 years.
  • Previous experience of supervising various project elements and engineers would be a real advantage.
  • Good communication skills are required as the majority of the role will involve being in a customer facing environment.
  • The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.
  • A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install is required.
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.
  • A full clean driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country.
  • ECS/CSCS Card.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile.
  • A flexible attitude to working hours is necessary and we require a willingness to travel to locations across the country. Some overnight stays may be required but these will be kept to a minimum.
  • Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and proactive.
