Salary: Up to 55,000

A leading provider of exceptional support for children with complex needs is seeking a Peripatetic Care Home Manager to join their West Midlands division. This role involves overseeing and supporting multiple residential homes across the region.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience as a Care Home Manager with a proven track record of excellence in residential care.
  • Passionate about supporting individuals to lead fulfilling, independent lives with dignity and respect.
  • Strong leadership skills in managing staff, services, and delivering high-quality care.
  • Holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Management qualification).
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of OFSTED legislation, including updates and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Registered Managers across various residential settings.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care services, supporting Registered Managers with care planning and auditing processes.
  • Monitor service effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to maintain excellence.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for residents.
  • Provide advice on medication administration, documentation, and adherence to OFSTED standards.
  • Step into the role of Acting Manager as needed, fulfilling all duties of a Registered Manager.
