LTF Recruitment are thrilled to be offering an exciting opportunity as a behaviour mentor within one of our excellent alternative provisions located in Birmingham. You will be joining an excellent team committed to improving the education and wellbeing of all pupils. This role has potential to be a permanent role subject to a successful trial period.

Roles & Responsibilities:* Support students with social, emotional, or behavioural problems that affect their ability to learn.* Actively listen to their needs and concerns and address / challenge behaviour that impacts negatively on the student.* Provide tailored support whilst liaising with teachers, social workers, other educational professionals, and parents/guardians.* Develop positive working relationships with both staff and pupils and act as a role model. The ideal candidate will:* Have a background of working with children who require additional support.* Have strong communication and verbal skills.* Must be able to drive to work.* Team Teach or equivalent training is desirable.
