£80-£85 Per Day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role 

We are looking for people who want to work in schools across Birmingham and potentially the wider West Midlands, you will be fostering positive relationships with pupils supporting with their day-to-day activities. Due to the needs of each child, you will need to be comfortable with personal care and challenging behaviour working both as an individual and a team to ensure that the child's needs are met. Where support work is not available, you may consider working within our SEND school settings, supporting teachers in the day and caring for children with physical or learning disabilities. 

The desired Support Workerwill have; 

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a care, residential or educational setting is required.   

  • A passion for supporting and caring for Children and Adults with behavioural or Special Educational Needs.  

  • A strong understanding and awareness of safeguarding is essential.  

  • A background in therapeutic care or therapeutic practice would be desirable.  

  • An Ability to work individually and take a proactive approach to student care and learning.
