Position: Care Coordinator (Full Time)
Located in: Birmingham and Sandwell

Watra Carespecialises in providing live in care/home care and support to our customers throughout the Birminghamregion. We are currently recruiting a full time coordinator to join our supportive and friendly team. This role will involve mainly office based duties. We can offer you access to lots of further training and development opportunities and there are opportunities to advance further in your career in care with our company!
Your duties will include:
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Scheduling care assistants and putting together rotas
  • Acting as the first point of contact for care assistants
  • Providing advice and guidance to care assistants
  • Providing an excellent service for our customers
  • Responding efficiently to day to day changes in the care and support packages
  • Completing assessments and care planning for new customers
  • Setting up new packages of care
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the service
  • Providing on-going support to clients, their families
  • Reporting to the Branch Manager

What you will need:
  • Previous Care Co-ordinator or Care Supervisory experience in Domiciliary Care Services
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role
  • The ability to provide on-going support to clients and families and liaise with NHS, Social Services, Local Authorities and members of the team
  • The ability to deliver a high standard of care within all areas
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office and home care software
  • To be willing to be part of the on call to support staff and service users on a rotated basis
