Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse working within a dynamic Crisis Team. This role is perfect for professionals with psychiatric liaison or urgent care experience. Your core responsibilities include:

Conducting urgent mental health assessments in the community or emergency departments

Providing crisis intervention and risk management
-
Coordinating care and signposting to appropriate services
-
Liaising with multidisciplinary teams, including A&E, social services, and GPs
-
Supporting service users through acute episodes and facilitating early discharge
-
Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in line with clinical standards
-
Current and valid NMC registration and PIN
-
Essential: Experience in psychiatric liaison or mental health crisis settings
-
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
-
Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
-
Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota
This is a full-time position with long-day shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM) across Monday to Sunday. The contract is ongoing for 3 months, with high potential for extension based on service need.
