My client a leading law firm based in Birmingham are looking to hire a L&D Advisor on a 12-month fixed term contract.

In this role you will:

  • Support the design and delivery of live programmes and virtual instructor-led programmes
  • Responsible for planning, organising logistics, updating materials and hosting the programmes
  • Take the lead on coordinating all aspects of the programme event logistics
  • Supervise the Learning and Development Coordinator ensuring that all their coordination and administration tasks are completed
  • Create and update agendas, timetables, session planners and facilitation materials
  • Communicate effectively with participants and contributors (internal and external), including partner sponsors, other contributing partners and coaches
  • Source and book external event locations and service providers
  • Manage the budget for the programme
  • Gather, review and evaluate the feedback received on the programme to continuously improve content and delivery methods

To carry out this role you must have:

  • Several years' experience of working in a professional services environment in a Learning and Development role in the UK.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • A clear understanding of the processes required to facilitate the delivery of a successful training program, including budget management and implementation
