Fanuc Engineer (Progression to Applications Engineer)

£40,000-£45,000 + Bonus + Training + Progression + Company Benefits

Field Based - covering a patch around the Midlands

Are you an Engineer who is proficient in Fanuc systems looking for an autonomous Field-based role within a UK market-leader where you will provide training on Fanuc for a broad client base nationwide in a role offering a generous bonus to increase your earnings and the chance to continually progress to senior roles?

This company are a market leader in machine tools distribution and have been established since the 1970s, they have a major presence in the UK and Ireland and are known for training and progression pathways for their staff. Due to an ever increasing workload they are looking to grow their Applications team.

This varied role will see you travelling to clients sites across the UK to train operatives on CNC machines (primarily Fanuc) in addition to undertaking some technical support and client liaison. This is a role that will require you to be flexible with working hours and willing to stay away when required.

This role would suit an Engineer looking to become an Applications Engineer within an autonomous field based role within a market-leading company who are known for looking after their employees and offer the opportunities to increase your earnings through a quarterly bonus.

The Role:

  • Training operatives on Fanuc CNC machines
  • Customer support and visits.
  • Detailed technical sales support.
  • Product support for sales team
  • Customer assistance at customer location to help resolve customer issues and meet customer needs or challenges.
  • Providing communication of activities and market needs

The Person:

  • Proficient in Fanuc
  • Looking to become an Applications Engineer
  • Happy to travel across Midlands- and stay away when required
