SEN Teaching Assistant - Reception EYFS - Rubery (B45) - Long term/permanent role - 90-105 a day - January start

Long term futures are looking for a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to work with an incredible school in Rubery (B45) to work with a child 1:1 with complex needs in reception. You will be the mentor and main contact point for a child who requires your help to access the curriculum and fulfil their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

Working 1:1 with a child with complex ASD needs
Support and supervise classroom activity through the day
Deliver lessons 1:1 or offer extra support through whole class lessons
Help manage classroom behaviour
Maintain can do attitude creating a positive learning environment

Qualifications:

Experience working in SEN education
Prior experience working with children in schools
Experience working with children and the ability to communicate effectively with children with ASD
Strong communication skills
Experience working with ADHD and ASC in schools
Experience working with children who demonstrate challenging behaviour
