SEN Teaching Assistant - Reception EYFS - Rubery (B45) - Long term/permanent role - £90-£105 a day - January start

Long term futures are looking for a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to work with an incredible school in Rubery (B45) to work with a child 1:1 with complex needs in reception. You will be the mentor and main contact point for a child who requires your help to access the curriculum and fulfil their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working 1:1 with a child with complex ASD needs
  • Support and supervise classroom activity through the day
  • Deliver lessons 1:1 or offer extra support through whole class lessons
  • Help manage classroom behaviour
  • Maintain can do attitude creating a positive learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in SEN education
  • Prior experience working with children in schools
  • Experience working with children and the ability to communicate effectively with children with ASD
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with ADHD and ASC in schools
  • Experience working with children who demonstrate challenging behaviour
