About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in B16. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students with various interventions within the resource base, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This is a full-time position starting in February 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students across KS1 and KS2.
- Delivering interventions to groups of students.
- Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Work closely with teachers to monitor student progress.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for students.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Would be suitable for ECTs looking to gain experience before ECT year.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or childcare are advantageous.
