Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role? We're working with a fantastic mainstream primary school in Birmingham that's home to a well-established resource base, providing specialist support for pupils with additional needs.

This is a full-time opportunity to make a real difference-supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis within a nurturing and well-resourced setting. The school is warm, welcoming, and committed to inclusive education.

Your Role:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils within the resource base
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP targets
  • Support learning through structured interventions and sensory activities
  • Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and social skills
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents

We are looking for:

  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs (ASD, speech & language needs, or complex learning difficulties preferred)
  • Strong understanding of primary-aged pupils and early learning development
  • Calm, patient and adaptable approach
  • A team player with a passion for helping children thrive
