Long Term Futures is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support KS1 & KS2 students. This full-time role focuses on providing 1:1 and small-group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), working closely with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support for SEN students in KS1 and KS2
  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored interventions to meet the needs of SEN pupils.
  • Help manage classroom behavior in line with the school's policies.
  • Support students' social and emotional development, fostering confidence and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress and provide actionable feedback.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Have experience supporting SEN students, particularly in a primary school setting.
  • Be confident working with pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Be proactive, flexible, and passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
