About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Art and DT teacher to join a highly supportive, and welcoming SEN Secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience working with SEN/SEND students, who thrives in an inclusive, nurturing environment. You’ll be working with a diverse group of learners, helping them develop their creativity and technical skills, while ensuring that their unique needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Art and DT lessons tailored to meet the needs of SEN/SEND students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with the SEND team to ensure effective support for all students
- Adapt teaching strategies to cater to a variety of learning needs
- Encourage students to reach their full potential, both academically and personally
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in teaching Art and Design Technology
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS
- A strong understanding of SEN/SEND and experience in creating tailored learning plans
- A dedicated and compassionate approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for supporting students in a creative and inclusive setting
