Our esteemed partner Primary School in the King's Heath area is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to make a meaningful difference. The successful candidate will have the rewarding opportunity to support children who require additional help, positively influencing their development and overall success in the classroom. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Offering support to SEN students in 1:1 settings.
  • Working closely with the team to implement inclusive strategies that address their varying needs, abilities, and learning styles.
  • Promoting active participation and engagement in the learning experience.
  • Ensuring this child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential in a caring and secure environment.

What we are looking for:

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree.
  • Training such as TeamTeach, and/or Makaton.
  • Experience working in a Primary School.
  • Experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Experience supporting children with challenging behaviours is advantageous.
  • A dedication to assisting children in overcoming obstacles and achieving their full potential.
