Willo Education is partnering with a school in the Edgbaston area that is eager to find a KS2 teacher for a long-term role starting as soon as possible to cover a maternity leave. The school encourages applications from both ECTs and experienced Primary Teachers. They pride themselves on fostering a collaborative and family-oriented environment. The Head Teacher is both approachable and supportive, ensuring a nurturing atmosphere for staff and students.

To excel in this position, you should be adept at planning and delivering captivating lessons, showcasing creativity in your teaching methods, and maintaining a positive and impactful demeanour. Interviews are currently underway, with plans for a handover and settling-in sessions with the class.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 6 months teaching experience in UK schools
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
  • Experience in teaching KS2
  • Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and assess lessons to a high standard
  • Capacity to provide two references
